Hardwood Floor
Solid hardwood is made from 100% natural wood and can be sanded and refinished multiple times.
Why Choose hardwood floor?
Solid hardwood is often considered the gold standard in flooring. Made from a single piece of timber, it brings unmatched natural beauty, warmth, and character to a space. Hardwood is available in a variety of species—from traditional oak and maple to exotic options like walnut or cherry—and finishes can range from glossy to matte, stained or natural.
Its biggest advantage is longevity. Solid hardwood can be sanded and refinished multiple times over its lifetime, making it a great long-term investment. It adds real value to a home and suits a variety of décor styles, from rustic to contemporary. However, hardwood is sensitive to moisture and best kept out of bathrooms and basements. It’s also on the higher end of the price spectrum, both in material and installation. Still, for many, the timeless appeal and durability are worth every penny.

Flooring Buying Guide
How do I get a price?
Use our contact form to get in touch; let us know the size of the area and what flooring you want and we’ll give you a price!
What flooring can you install?
If it goes on the floor, we can install it! Carpet, laminate, luxury vinyl and engineered wood are our bread and butter.
What prep is needed for my new floor?
The room needs to be empty in order for us to install the floor. Other than that, we will sort out all the prep work – you’ll be kept in the loop every step of the way, so if there is screeding/boarding needing prior to the floor going down, you’ll know.
Do you offer payment plans?
We do not offer payment plans for our floors. We take a deposit; the rest of the figure is due once the floor has been installed.
What floor is right for me?
It entirely depends on the area and what you use it for. If it is a family room where people come to relax, a thick pile carpet is what we recommend. If it is an office or dining room, our range of engineered woods would bring those rooms to life.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Cambridgeshire but are willing to travel for jobs.
